![]() Suzi's StorySince an early age I have been involved in singing, acting, and public speaking, never shying away from centre stage. As a kid I was involved in amateur dramatics, and played the title role in a production of Oliver in 1994 which resulted in my first ever TV appearance on Granada News! The role also inspired me to take up summer school classes with Sylvia Young Theatre School.
In my early teens I decided to break into singing and songwriting.
Inspired by my Jewish roots I penned a track entitled "A Place I Wanna
Be" about war and peace in the Middle East which won several
competitions and allowed me to experience my first recording session in
a studio. I went out to write several tracks with a music producer who
I sourced from The Stage newspaper, the most successful of which being
"God's Gift", which was nominated for Best Song at the Urban Voice Music
Awards in 2002.
A couple of years later thanks to a chance meeting with a football agent
in London I landed my first TV presenting role, co-presenting Euro 2004
for FS Sport, an African Satellite Channel.
Earlier this year I sat the FIFA football agent licensing examination
and passed. I am the youngest female to have achieved this. I obviously
aspire to be a successful agent although I'd really like to finish my
university degree first!
I am taking a Bachelor of Arts Honours degree in Linguistics at University College London alongside my Sports Management studies, and I am spending the Autumn term this year Stateside at University of Massachusetts.
At 22 I know I have already achieved a huge amount and I am very proud
of that but there is still so much more I'd like to experience. My
aspirations have changed on a fairly regular basis and that may have
something to do with the fact that I am a Piscean (typically fickle),
but what has always remained the same is my desire to achieve, to break
barriers and to prove myself to the world.
